Frequently asked questions about company search

How do I find a company by its company ID?

Enter the matična številka in the search box and press Search. If the entity is in the Poslovni register Slovenije we show its registration data, legal form, address and everything officially published about it.

Can I search by company name?

Yes. Two characters of the registered business name are enough. The search returns every matching company together with its company ID, legal form and address, so you can pick the right one.

Does company search cost anything?

No. Everything on this site is free and needs no account: search, the full profile, the official filings and the VAT check. Change monitoring and API access are the planned paid tiers.

Where does the data come from?

Registration data comes from the Poslovni register Slovenije, kept by AJPES; court register entries and insolvency proceedings come from the AJPES official publications. VAT numbers are verified against the European Commission's VIES system.

Do you show company revenue and profit?

No. AJPES sells the annual accounts rather than publishing them as open data, so no revenue, profit or equity figure appears here for any Slovenian company. What a profile shows instead is everything officially published about it: court register entries, insolvency proceedings, ZGD-1 notices and filed documents.

How often is the data updated?

Register data is a snapshot AJPES publishes as open data; the publications are taken from Uradne objave. Every profile states the date we last took its data, so you can see how fresh the record in front of you is.
